Crisco Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/4 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 Cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
1/2 Cup Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening
1 large egg
3 Tbsps. milk
1 tsp. Spice Islands Pure Vanilla Extract
1 3/4 Cup all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

Preparation
  • Heat oven to 375°.
Making
  • Beat brown sugar, peanut butter, shortening, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl with mixer on high speed until smooth.
  • Stir flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl until blended.
  • Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating just until blended.
  • Roll into 36 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Flatten slightly with fork in a criss-cross pattern.
Baking
  • Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
  • Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
